"Popped into Burrito Bae last night and was pleasantly surprised with my overall experience. Firstly, it’s extremely refreshing to find halal Mexican food in Melbourne, so that’s the first big win. Secondly, the young girl working greeted me with such lovely hospitality and was extremely patient as I contemplated what to order. She assisted me in describing portion sizes and guiding me towards what to order. Wish I had caught her name, but she was the best! With those two things in mind it’s difficult for my rating to not reflect how much I recommend this place. However, once the food came out I was presented with an extremely generous portion of Grilled Chicken Nachos. The service was quick and the nachos were clearly made fresh to order. Grilled chicken was delicious and juicy, with such ample guacamole and sour cream on top so not a single chip went without toppings. I’m extremely pleased with my experience at Burrito Bae - I’ll most likely be returning to try some more menu items and bring along some friends to help with the indulgent portions. Given that they’re named Burrito Bae I cannot fault them too much, but I would love to see an addition of tacos to the menu! Overall, delicious generous servings, wonderful service and chill ambiance. Highly recommend."

"Ordered the pulled beef burrito, chicken burrito bowl and Churros. Oh boy, the food absolutely slapped! The portions are generous so well worth the price and everything had so much flavour! Catering for all including the vegans, the gluten intolerant and the halal amongst us, you can take any one of your friends to check out these insanely big and insanely good burritos, bowls or burrito bowls! There is nothing GYG about it, these burritos are stuffed properly with rice, beans, cheese, guac, corn, crushed chips, sour cream, pico de gallo and house-made chipotle mayo, you honestly don’t even need meat — the Bean Burrito was elite on its own! It's serious flavour, serious size, and zero regrets (including the corn ribs!) And bonus points for the insane hot sauce lineup and the cold Jarritos to wash it all down too. It's only a small place, hidden in plain sight on a main road so if you want a table to relax and enjoy, be prepared to wait - guess I was late to the party because those that knew have kept this place secret wayyyyyy too long. Honestly my new fav burrito place this side of Mexico!"

"Our favourite local Mexican spot! The staff are always so friendly and welcoming, and the food never misses. We like to order their burrito bowl (plant-based chicken is our fave!) and their chips; the chipotle mayo sauce is seriously so good. My recent favourite is their jalapeño poppers, which are now a must-order for me. After years of getting takeaway, we finally dined in recently and loved the experience. We’ll definitely be doing this more often! Also loving the new branding, team. As a designer, I approve! "HIGHLY RECOMMEND 11/10 as a person who doesn't have the acquired taste, this burrito is the absolute bomb diggety, get it up ya. Chefs kiss to the chefs and staff at this place. I'm sorry if I sound over excited, but seriously, as a person who doesn't like Mexican cuisine because of the beans and certain flavours, ladies and gentlemen, I swear to you, if you go here, you're gonna be satisfied regardless. You like it simple? They know what you're talking about. You want it loaded but wanna mess around with it to make it your way? They know what you want. Service? Impeccable. Food? If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Michelin Star quality food. My husband dragged me here and damn I'm glad I came to this place."
